The Region
The village of Flaujagues is located at the border of the Dordogne in the well recognised site of international wine making culture. Near from Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, this region delights by it's numerous estates and vineyards.
From the church, follow the Dordogne and you will see the Clos Fourcaud, splendid house from the second half of the nineteenth century built in the heart of an area formerly dependent of Chateau de Flaujagues. Then, take the literary walking track in tribute of the writer Pierre Loti, the Karpinski property and its organic vineyards is facing you. Haven of peace in the middle of the vines, a charming dovecote on the way of wines opens its doors and welcomes you for an authentic stay in the region of Bordeaux. Discovery of a unique historical and cultural heritage and a oenological and gastronomic way of life is assured to you.

Valerie and Frank are a franco-german couple passionate about wine and having a growing interest in organic farming. Keen to settle in the countryside, they literally fell in love with this absolutely charming property and its vineyard. Working in the meantime in the world of show business, they decided to open new prospects and begin this incredible journey.

The Wine
Very open nose with complex aroma of red berries (Morello cherries), sweet spices and a hint of minty freshness.
Round in mouth at the first taste with plenty of fruits (cherry), tannins full of mellowness. The palate confirms the fruit and freshness.
This Vintage will delight lovers of young wines but it can also wait a few years for consumers of more mature wines.
Silver medal at the 2014 Expression contest of Montagne (St Emilion), organised by the BIO wine-growers Union of Aq
